Grizzly early moments of Turn

There will be blood on this show. I figured a lot more people would get this shot, as it gives a taste of just how brutal war then was. Around 2 minutes and 40 seconds into the Pilot, we’re shown the corpses of American freedom-fighters.

The one living fellow–the one on the top left–is finishing off any still-living soldiers. It was common practice at the time, as some soldiers would “play possum” and act dead. One bayonet blow through the heart would prove wether or not the battlefield was cleared of the living. This was, of course, some 180 or so years before the Geneva Convention and common rules for war.
